The goal of chess is to capture the king. That's it. It's not to get all the pieces. There are no "style points". Checkmate the king...period.

In life, sometimes we get "lost in the sauce". Don't make moves because you want to be seen or because you want accolades, recognition or pats on the back. Leadership isn't about "atta boys". It's shouldering the blame when things go wrong and expecting no praise when things go well.
