Ain't No Mountain High Enough...

Lessons from the 64 squares...

"No difficulty can discourage, no obstacle dismay, no trouble dishearten the man who has acquired the art of being alive. Difficulties are but dares of fate, obstacles but hurdles to try his skill, troubles but bitter tonics to give him strength; and he rises higher and looms greater after each encounter with adversity."-Ella Wheeler Wilcox

Every chess piece has it's own strengths and movements, none more unique than the knight. Though it can't transform like pawns, or move rapidly across the board like rooks, bishops or queens, it does carry its own superpower: it's the only piece on the board that can jump. This makes it an extremely effective piece because it cannot be blocked by another piece. If it wants to get to a spot, it simply hops over it.

In NOTG, the knight correlates with "Consistent Motivation". When we embrace our "knighthood", we are not dismayed by obstacles. It is good to be motivated, but it is the CONSISTENT motivation that gets us over the hurdles. So don't get discouraged when mountains appear. Find your footholds of determination and consistency. Push past the hurdles of doubt and fear and climb! There is so much beauty on the other side of the struggle. #NOTG #ChessInRealLife #NeverGiveUp #Knighthood #WarriorMindset
